The Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (\u201cthe Authority\u201d) invites sealed bids from suitably qualified contractors for the following:<\/p>\n
\u201cDESIGN, SUPPLY, INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING OF A
\nSOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC GENERATION SYSTEM
\nAT THE PIARCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT\u201d<\/p>\n
Prospective Tenderers are required to attend the mandatory virtual Pre-Bid Meeting scheduled for December 15th, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Atlantic Standard Time (AST) (AST is four hours behind Coordinated Universal Time – UTC). Invitations will be emailed to Tenderers who have requested the Invitation to Tender (\u201cITT\u201d) document.<\/p>\n
In order to obtain the ITT document, prospective Tenderers must email the Corporate Secretary at corporate_secretary@tntairports.com on or before December 14th 2020 at 4:00pm AST with the subject \u201cDesign, Supply, Installation and Commissioning of a Solar Photovoltaic Generation System at the Piarco International Airport\u201d requesting the ITT document. The email shall include:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Company Name;
\n\u2022 Company Representative Name;
\n\u2022 Representative Email Address; and
\n\u2022 Representative Telephone contact.<\/p>\n
Prospective Tenderers may also attend the non-mandatory Site Visit. The non-mandatory Site Visit is scheduled for December 16th 2020 at 10:00 am AST at the North Terminal, Piarco International Airport, Piarco, Trinidad and Tobago.<\/p>\n
Tenderers must submit a softcopy of their Technical Bid and the Financial Bid no later than 2:00 p.m. AST on January 19th 2021 via the Dropbox links provided by the Authority, clearly labelled \u201cDesign, Supply, Installation and Commissioning of a Solar Photovoltaic Generation System at the Piarco International Airport\u201d<\/p>\n
The Authority shall host a virtual public opening thereafter at 2:30 p.m. AST. Tenderers or their representatives may witness the virtual opening.<\/p>\n
LATE BIDS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Bids submitted by means of facsimile or email shall not be considered.<\/p>\n
The Authority will not defray any cost incurred by Tenderers during the preparation and\/or submission of their Bids.<\/p>\n
Failure to attend the mandatory virtual Pre-Bid Meeting will result in the disqualification of the submitted Bid.
\nThe Authority does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any other Bid.<\/p>\n
