The\u00a0Associate will\u00a0ensure\u00a0high quality and accuracy of work\u00a0and provide solutions to issues related to day to day office functioning.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The successful candidate\u00a0will promote\u00a0a client-oriented approach consistent with GGGI\u00a0values and processes. The duration of the position is 3-years with the possibility of extension.\u202fContracting of the successful candidate is conditional upon confirmation of funding.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Project Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">GGGI\u2019s Eastern Caribbean Green Entrepreneurship Initiative supports the development,\u00a0 financing, and growth of businesses that contribute to addressing environmental and sustainability issues in 6\u00a0 OECS countries (Antigua &amp; Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts &amp; Nevis, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines) in order to assist countries in meeting their climate change and green growth goals while creating green jobs and developing local green industries.\u00a0 The initiative will offer incubation and accelerator programs, including virtual courses, a mentorship program, links to investors, in-person events and networking opportunities, in addition to provision of seed grants and repayable loans to selected businesses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">GGGI\u2019s Caribbean Office works closely with the OECS Commission, as well as directly with the governments of OECS member countries to develop and implement projects and programs related to green growth topics including climate change mitigation and adaptation, renewable energy, and climate financing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The purpose of this role is to support\u00a0the\u00a0Caribbean\u00a0Representative\u00a0and\u00a0team\u00a0in maintaining effective program\u00a0execution\u00a0and process integrity\u00a0by providing operational and administrative assistance, including\u00a0assistance in\u00a0reporting and communication\u00a0that is\u00a0in line with GGGI corporate policies, standards and protocols.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>\u00a0Engagement<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>Liaise\u00a0with\u00a0relevant\u00a0units in Seoul headquarters and\/or in Latin America to initiate requests, obtain necessary clearances, process and follow-up on administrative and financial actions<\/li>\n<li>Liaise closely with colleagues and partners within\u00a0the\u00a0OECS\u00a0Commission\u00a0on administrative and logistical manners<\/li>\n<li>Communicate program needs to service providers\/suppliers and ensure that services\/products are delivered in line with established agreements.<\/li>\n<li>Support communications\u00a0with the respective Governments and other\u00a0stakeholders\u00a0in the six project countries and other project partners<\/li>\n<li>Support engagement of the\u00a0participants and mentors in the Eastern Caribbean Green Entrepreneurship Initiative\u00a0to facilitate their involvement in the program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>\u00a0Delivery<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u00a0The\u00a0Associate\u00a0will be responsible for job duties including but not limited to the following:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><u>Finance Support:\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>Assist in preparation and monitoring of\u00a0project and\u00a0annual budgets, providing monthly forecast and monitoring of project expenditures.<\/li>\n<li>Lead planning\u00a0and\u00a0tracking\u00a0of financial resources, in accordance with GGGI rules and regulations (e.g. authorization of payments, submission of claims,\u00a0etc).<\/li>\n<li>Complete internal financial reporting such as monthly progress report (financial aspect, budget adjustment rounds during the year, year-end pack return etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Administer and monitor procurement plans and requisition procedures in line with\u202fproject implementation plan and funding agreement.<\/li>\n<li>Support country representative\/project manager in monitoring projects as necessary both substantively and financially.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><u>\u00a0Administration Support:\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>Oversee record-keeping and communications for recruitment, management, and tracking of participants, mentors, and other\u00a0stakeholders in the\u00a0Eastern Caribbean Green Entrepreneurship Initiative.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain\u00a0project\/program filing system and\u00a0records to support reporting requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and support the logistics for in-person and virtual meetings, seminars, workshops, trainings, etc. including but not limited to transport solutions,\u202fcatering, procurement, and communications.<\/li>\n<li>Support the smooth running of the office in Saint Lucia in close collaboration with Regional Representative\u00a0and\u00a0perform\u00a0other\u00a0administrative duties as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain up-to-date\u00a0knowledge of GGGI procedures, policies, and tools to support operational transactions for project\/output delivery and advise team as necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><u>\u00a0Communications Support<\/u>:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>Support communications of activities and results, including donor and annual reporting, as well as project stakeholder communications.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as information management focal point by collecting and providing easy access to information, articles, and research material that may be relevant to the\u00a0program.<\/li>\n<li>Manage\u00a0program social media accounts and\u00a0develop\u00a0public-facing\u00a0content as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Support\u00a0communications with project partners\u00a0on\u00a0administrative matters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree\u00a0in any\u00a0one\u00a0of the following:\u00a0accounting, business administration, economics, management &amp; public administration, development studies.\u00a0\u00a0Supplemental training, such as MS Office applications proficiency, finance and procurement are an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>3\u00a0years\u00a0of\u00a0relevant work experience.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in financial management and\/or project budget management.<\/li>\n<li>High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), as well as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or similar software.<\/li>\n<li>Experience\u00a0with\u00a0governments,\u00a0the UN system, other international organizations, bilateral cooperation entities or projects.<\/li>\n<li>Exceptionally organized with\u00a0high\u00a0level of attention to detail and accuracy, especially to numbers.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in organizing workshops and logistics, including travel of participants, is desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English and excellent writing skills are essential.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of green growth and climate change issues would be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Experience in writing press releases, communicating professionally on social media would be an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n<p style=\"text-align:
