{"id":88443,"date":"2025-03-04T09:44:13","date_gmt":"2025-03-04T13:44:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/carilec.org\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=88443"},"modified":"2025-04-04T00:12:31","modified_gmt":"2025-04-04T04:12:31","slug":"vacancy-information-technology-auditor","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/carilec.org\/?post_type=job_listing&p=88443","title":{"rendered":"VACANCY \u2013 INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AUDITOR"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Applications are invited from interested and suitably qualified individuals for the position of <strong>Information Technology Auditor<\/strong><strong> FortisTCI,<\/strong> Providenciales.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Description<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This job will focus primarily on conducting performance, information technology and compliance audit projects; providing consulting services to the organization\u2019s management and staff; identifying technology risks and independently evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of information technology infrastructure, application controls, including information security; and coordinating the development of the annual audit plan.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Main Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identifies and evaluates the organization\u2019s information technology risk areas and provides key input to the development of the annual audit plan.<\/li>\n<li>Performs audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting client processes and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Conducts interviews, reviews documents, develops and administers surveys, composes summary memos, and prepares working papers.<\/li>\n<li>Identifies, develops, and documents audit issues and recommendations using independent judgment concerning areas being reviewed.<\/li>\n<li>Communicates or assists in communicating the results of audit and consulting projects via written reports and oral presentations to management and the board of directors.<\/li>\n<li>Develops and maintains productive client and staff relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Pursues professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional association memberships, and shares information gained with co-workers.<\/li>\n<li>Plans and executes audits of client\/server technology platforms and evaluates IT internal controls and works collaboratively with management to identify actions needed.<\/li>\n<li>Conducts data extraction, analysis, and security reviews utilizing software tools.<\/li>\n<li>Supports audits and consulting engagements related to programming, mainframe batch and online processes, client-server architecture, Internet and intranet functionality, database extraction, technology strategy, and data communication and network security.<\/li>\n<li>Acts as liaison with IT business partners to ensure full understanding of data flow, data integrity, and system security.<\/li>\n<li>Assesses information technology control elements to mitigate IT risks regarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of business information.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in business process and financial audits as may be assigned.<\/li>\n<li>Performs related work as assigned by the Director of Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Academic\/Technical\/Management Experience &amp; Qualifications:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Computer Science\/Management Information Systems, Accounting, Business or equivalent combination of related work experience and education<\/li>\n<li>5 &#8211; 7+ years of internal or external IT auditing experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have experience with Sarbanes-Oxley ITGC methodologies and requirements<\/li>\n<li>Advanced degree in Computer Science\/Management Information Systems or equivalent education.<\/li>\n<li>Completion of CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) , or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Abilities, Skills, Experience, Aptitude &amp; Judgement:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be tech savvy. Must have a solid base of computer skills related to hardware, software, networks, and cloud computing &#8212; from installation to operation and repair.
