Mr. Molina succeeds Mr. John Avery who demitted office in December 2020.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cIt is an honour to be appointed by the Governor General to such an important role\u201d, Molina said. \u201cI thank the Prime Minister for the trust he has placed in me and I will work to build and enhance the PUC.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The PUC is an independent, quasi-judicial regulatory body that is responsible for the regulation of the water, energy and telecommunications utilities in Belize.
