{"id":44622,"date":"2021-04-09T09:20:01","date_gmt":"2021-04-09T13:20:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.carilec.org\/?p=44622"},"modified":"2021-04-09T09:20:01","modified_gmt":"2021-04-09T13:20:01","slug":"caribbean-utilities-forge-a-new-world-of-human-connections-by-clicking-connecting-and-inspiring","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/carilec.org\/caribbean-utilities-forge-a-new-world-of-human-connections-by-clicking-connecting-and-inspiring\/","title":{"rendered":"Caribbean Utilities Forge a New World of Human Connections by Clicking, Connecting, and Inspiring"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>\u2018The New World of Human Connections: Click, Connect and Inspire\u2019<\/strong> was quite aptly selected as the theme for <strong>CARILEC\u2019s 2021 Virtual Human Resource, Corporate Communications and Customer Service (HRCCCS) Conference<\/strong>, held on March 23<sup>rd<\/sup> and 24<sup>th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Over a two (2) day period, communicators, human resource officers and customer service personnel from several organisations within the CARILEC membership body and beyond, converged on the Whova Platform (a virtual event application) to engage in meaningful discourse on the conference theme.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">This premium event featured a theme-centered panel discussion and thirteen (13) phenomenal presentations on pertinent topics including, \u2018Leading Employees through Crisis\u2019, \u2018Brand Storytelling and Social Strategies\u2019, and \u2018An Overview of Media Monitoring\u2019.\u00a0 Also comprising the conference package was a member exclusive speed networking session, whereby CARILEC members had the opportunity to connect with colleagues to discuss the challenges and successes of the previous year, amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, member exclusive meetings for the corporate communications, human resource, and customer service CARILEC committees were also held, whereby members candidly provided in-depth updates on the current and future initiatives earmarked for their respective departments and organisations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">CARILEC is pleased to report that the 2021 HRCCCS Conference was a major success, particularly due to the support of its membership, partners, and elite presenters.\u00a0 This highly dubbed conference served as an online stage whereby highly influential regional and international industry professionals shared their valued expertise, best practices, and proven techniques through a variety of delivery styles, encompassing passion, vigour, wit, and intellectual prowess.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The conference\u2019s presenter line-up included esteemed keynote speaker Ms. Allison Manswell, a talent management executive with over twenty-five (25) years\u2019 experience in leadership development; Dr. Jamal Browne, Communications and Visibility Manager at the 11th European Development Fund\u2019s Resilience, Sustainable Energy and Marine Biodiversity Programme (RESEMBID), Ms. Allison Demas, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Media InSite Limited and Attorney-At-Law; and Mr. Sidney Alvarez, Director of Storytelling and Social Strategies at the Edison Electric Institute (EEI).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">A conference post-mortem review also revealed that an impressive ninety-nine percent (99%) of the sixty-seven (67) registered delegates attended the conference and remained tuned in throughout almost all presentations.
