Castries, Saint Lucia<\/em>, June 21, 2021: <\/strong>With a virtual comeback following a hiatus in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, CARILEC\u2019s 2021 Lineworkers\u2019 and Manufacturers\u2019 Symposium <\/strong>is set to be unveiled on June 22nd<\/sup> and 23rd<\/sup>, 2021<\/strong>.\u00a0 This year\u2019s symposium will be hosted virtually under the theme \u2018Safety. Power. People<\/em>\u2019<\/strong>.\u00a0 The Lineworkers\u2019 and Manufacturers\u2019 Symposium has been hailed as the leading regional forum for the converging of Lineworkers, their supervisors and other power restoration workers throughout the electric utility sector.\u00a0 While this year\u2019s conference will not feature the popular rodeo component, due to its face-to-face nature, the event agenda boasts a roster of regional and international line safety specialists, mechanical and electrical engineers and highly experienced Lineworkers!<\/p>\n As the 2021 Atlantic Hurricane Season gets underway, regional utility leaders are called upon to take heed to scientific predictions, which have cautioned that this season will be an above normal<\/em> one.
