Area : Bodden Town Road and Frank Sound Road<\/strong><\/p>\n Dates : Wednesday, December 1 to Monday, December 20, 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n Tim<\/strong>e : Between 9:00 am and 2:30 pm, Mondays to Fridays<\/strong><\/p>\n Between Wednesday, December 1 and Monday, December 20, CUC\u2019s sub-contractors will be conducting aggressive tree trimming between 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., Mondays to Fridays, on sections of Bodden Town Road from Cherry Tree Drive in Breakers to the junction with Frank Sound Road and on some roads off Frank Sound Road, including Stepping Stone Drive, Halkeith Drive, Lariat Drive, Mastic Road, Due to excessive growth, some of the trees and vegetation on these roads have become an imminent safety hazard to power lines and must be trimmed back immediately.<\/p>\n Motorists are asked to exercise extreme caution and due diligence when driving on these roads and to be on the look out for the bright orange \u201cUtility Work Ahead\u201d signage as there may be temporary lane blockages and traffic management in place.<\/p>\n CUC is responsible for providing safe and reliable electrical service to Grand Cayman and to satisfy this responsibility, it is necessary to ensure that trees and other vegetation do not obstruct or interfere with power lines or constitute an unacceptable source of danger.<\/p>\n Landowners are reminded that is their responsibility to maintain the trees and vegetation away from power lines on their properties.
