BURNABY, BC \u2013 February 15, 2022<\/strong>\u00a0– Tantalus Systems (TSX: GRID) (\u201cTantalus\u201d or the \u201cCompany\u201d), a smart grid technology company focused on helping build sustainable utilities, is pleased to announce that the City of High Point, North Carolina (the \u201cCity\u201d or \u201cHigh Point\u201d), has selected Tantalus to provide a purpose-built smart grid solution to digitize the City\u2019s electric and water distribution system consisting of 80,000 combined meters. The City\u2019s decision to upgrade the distribution grid is tied to enhancing system resiliency while laying the foundation to provide enhanced applications and services to its residents.<\/p>\n The utility will deploy the Tantalus Utility Network (TUNet\u00ae) over the next two years and will incorporate Tantalus\u2019 TRUScan\u2122 communications technology.
