The Association has partnered with several sponsors and regional and international agencies, who have all significantly contributed towards the successful planning of the event.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">CAREC2022 commences with a <strong>Regulatory Roundtable<\/strong>, under the theme \u2018<strong>Introducing Supporting Regulation to Accelerate Energy Transition<\/strong>\u2019.\u00a0 The roundtable will be attended by regional government officials, energy sector regulators, utility leaders and energy policy makers.\u00a0 Following the regulatory roundtable, the agenda is categorized into various content blocks, designed to keep attendees thoroughly engaged.\u00a0 These content blocks will feature key energy sector topics and are further divided into sub-topic presentations. Notable presentations include, <strong>\u2018The Upward Spiral: Bermuda\u2019s Solution to Reversing the Utility Spiral\u2019<\/strong>, to be delivered by <strong>Mr. Wayne Caines<\/strong>, President of the<strong> Bermuda Electric Light Company (BELCO)<\/strong> and CARILEC Board Director.\u00a0 Another presentation will focus on <strong>\u2018Microgrid Development for Resilience and RE Expansion\u2019<\/strong>, facilitated by <strong>Ms. Amber Zirnhelt<\/strong> and <strong>Ms. Charlin Bodley<\/strong>, from the <strong>Energy Transition Academy<\/strong>, <strong>RMI<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Other agenda highlights include a presentation on <strong>\u2018Critical Grid Infrastructure for RE Expansion\u2019<\/strong> by <strong>Tganni Louisy<\/strong>, <strong>Business Development Manager with W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4<\/strong>.\u00a0 Also featured is a leadership panel discussion on the topic<strong>, \u2018Modern Utility Crossword: To Lead Now or Be Regulated Later\u2019<\/strong>.\u00a0 The panel will comprise of <strong>Mr. Leroy A.E.
