DOMLEC requires for employment an individual to fill the position of Chief Financial Officer.

Job summary

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead DOMLEC’s financial and commercial arms including all areas of financial management and accounting, commercial and customer service management and information and communications technology management. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that DOMLEC fulfills its service obligations. At the strategic level the CFO is responsible for the major supporting arms of the business that ensure the organization’s technical operations are financially efficient and sustainable and provide the best value for shareholders while ensuring maximum service satisfaction to all levels of consumers.

Qualifications and Education

• Certification in Accounting as evidenced by possession of ACCA, CMA, CPA or similar level qualification
• An MBA from a recognised institution would be an asset

Required Experience

• Minimum of ten (10) years in a related industry at a senior management level.
• Minimum of twenty (20) years’ experience in Accounting and Finance with a comparable scope and complexity.
• A proven track record of successfully leading the achievement of Financial Management KPIs in challenging environment.

Specialized knowledge in the following areas would be an asset:

• Regulatory Utilities Reporting
• PPA Accounting
• Rates Analysis
• Information and Communications Technology Management (ICT)
• Accounting Software
