Supervisor Lines Services

Reporting to the Superintendent T&D Lines, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

– Supervising and participating in line construction and maintenance including: planning, scheduling and checking work to ensure compliance with established policies, practices, regulations and standards, preparing time sheets, purchase orders and other related paperwork as required;

– Ensuring vehicles, equipment, tools, and personal protective equipment are properly maintained and used as required;

– Performing on call duties on a rotational basis and respond to emergencies during and after regular hours;

– Supporting the Company’s safety and environmental initiatives and ensuring compliance with national safety and environmental regulations applicable to area of responsibility;

– Investigating accidents and preparing reports as per company reporting policy.

 

Requirements:

Applicants should possess:

– Journeyman Lineman certificate plus minimum 5 years’ experience as qualified lineman; and 2 years supervisory experience;

– or High school diploma and a Journeyman Lineman certificate with (8) eight to (10) ten years related experience in transmission and distribution line construction and maintenance.

Salary:

– Salary is from US $6,224 to $8,558 per month.
