Employment Opportunity :: Production Maintenance

CUC operates within the Cayman Islands, a tax-free jurisdiction. Employees working are subject to taxes only when importing goods from overseas. There are no income taxes.

Heavy Duty Mechanic

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

– Performing all maintenance tasks on production equipment as directed, including general maintenance, trouble shooting, repair and performing major overhauls on diesel engines and related auxiliary equipment according to the Company procedures;

– Conducting scheduled maintenance on a planned basis;

– Carrying out unscheduled maintenance in a thorough and timely manner.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

Applicants should possess:

– A high school diploma and formal mechanical training; or a Class 3 Marine Engineering License;

– A minimum of five years’ related experience in diesel generating units ranging from 2,700 to 21,800 horsepower and related equipment maintenance and repairs with technician credentials;

– Experience working on MAN 48/60 A&B.

Salary:

– Salary is from US $4,505 to $5,631 per month.
