OLD HARBOUR TO CORPORATE AREA TRANSMISSION NETWORK EXPANSION PROJECT

INVITATION TO BID-RFP 879742 OHCATNEP-TRANSMISSION LINES

The Jamaica Public Service Company Limited, hereinafter referred to as JPS, is hereby inviting proposals from qualified bidders for the turnkey design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning into service, of the proposed 138kV Transmission Line from the Old Harbour 138kV Switchyard in St. Catherine to the New Hunts Bay Substation (NHBS) in Kingston and two (2) 69kV Transmission Lines from the New Hunts Bay Substation (NHBS) to the Hunts Bay B 69kV Substation (HBBS).

There are no restrictions on country of source and origin.

Eligible bidders will be required to submit full qualification information with their bids establishing their eligibility to bid and qualification to perform the contract if the bid is accepted. Tender and qualification information are to be submitted in the English Language in accordance with the Request for Proposal document. Submissions that do not provide the information required or that do not demonstrate the prospective contractor’s ability to perform satisfactorily, will not qualify and will not be considered for further evaluation.

The Request for Proposal document will be available at https://www.jpsco.com/rfp/from April 20, 2021. Only Electronic submissions will be accepted, using ShareFile by Citrix (details provided in the RFP document) and must be uploaded no later than June 21, 2021. Bids will be opened privately on June 22, 2021. Late bids will be rejected. The Jamaica Public Service Company Limited, JPS reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to annul the process and reject all bids, at any time prior to award of contract, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected prospective bidder(s) or any obligation to inform the affected prospective bidder(s) of the grounds for JPS action. JPS will not defray any costs incurred by any bidder in the preparation of bids.
