  2. How can we balance collaboration with regulatory frameworks and rapid technology change?
  3. How do we scale new procurement models in a small market competing globally for low-carbon tech (e.g., batteries)?
  4. What role can CARILEC and partners play in de-risking renewable energy investments?
  5. How can vendors and planning tools support optimized generation expansion?
  6. How do we avoid the utility death spiral and associated inaction?
  7. What technical inputs, roles, and data are required to support a de-risked energy transition at utility, country, or regulatory levels?

Expected Outcomes

  • Peer learning on practical transition models (e.g., IRPs, procurement, planning tools)
  • Insights into utility-regulator collaboration
  • Engagement with the CAREC Knowledge Portal
  • Audience activation for future CARILEC programming
  • Registration on a new engagement platform
