ABOUT THIS EVENT

Theme: Powering Transition in the Caribbean Energy Sector through Smart Designs, Efficient Procurement & Effective Execution

CARILEC is delighted to announce the return of its Engineering and Procurement Conference to be held in the beautiful twin island Republic of Trinidad & Tobago! This year’s event will be held from July 23rd to 27th, under the theme, ‘Powering Transition in the Caribbean Energy Sector through Smart Designs, Efficient Procurement and Effective Execution’.

This theme was chosen in recognition of the great need for new and resilient energy infrastructure, more effective procurement practices, innovative approaches, and inclusive perspectives within the Caribbean energy landscape. Creating more focused technologies and effective solutions can further the planning and development of future power generation and grid capacities in the region.

The theme focuses on design, procurement, energy infrastructure and encompasses the values of environmental, social and governance (ESG) frameworks. Likewise, competitive, cost-efficient, and time-sensitive procurement practices are necessary in support of energy transitioning in the Caribbean power sector.

For further information on this conference contact our Events, Marketing and Member Services Department at [email protected].
