Occupational Health and Safety Symposium 2026

Building on the important discussions from 2025, the 2026 Occupational Health & Safety Symposium continues its commitment to strengthening workplace safety across the region. Events like the OHS Symposium, alongside CARILEC’s Disaster Management initiatives, work hand in hand to prepare organizations holistically, ensuring both people and systems are resilient, responsive, and ready for today’s evolving risks.

The world of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is changing rapidly. From the impacts of climate change and emerging health risks to advances in technology and new approaches to risk management, today’s safety professionals must adapt to protect an increasingly complex workforce.

The Occupational Health & Safety Symposium 2026 will bring together safety practitioners, energy sector leaders, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to explore how OHS is being reshaped across the Caribbean and beyond. From November 4 – 6, 2026, under the theme “The Changing Landscape of Occupational Health & Safety,” the Symposium will examine innovative strategies, practical solutions, and forward-thinking approaches that strengthen workforce resilience and promote safer, healthier workplaces.

Mini-Exhibition

The Occupational Health & Safety Symposium 2026 will feature a small exhibition component, providing a select number of organizations with the opportunity to showcase products, services, and solutions that support workplace safety, health, and operational resilience. The mini-exhibition complements the technical programme by giving delegates direct access to innovative tools, technologies, and best-practice solutions in Occupational Health and Safety.

A limited number of exhibitor spaces will be available, and interested companies are encouraged to apply early. For exhibition opportunities, please contact events@carilec.org
