1.3 SCOPE OF SURVEY
The CARILEC Electricity Tariff Survey is conducted among all relevant CARILEC Full Member electric
utilities that are engaged in the commercialisation of electricity. It compiles pertinent data that would
inform a comparative analysis of the electricity tariffs in the Caribbean region.

This report does not provide an analysis of the necessary data across the various parts of the electricity
sector, across time, and across disaggregated customer categories in the Caribbean region. Therefore,
detailed analyses, beyond the scope of this report, will be required to adequately inform an in-depth study
of the tariff across Caribbean island states.

1.4 SOURCE OF DATA
The participants (CARILEC Full Member electric utilities) provided the typical bills and all other pertinent
data via responses provided to a revised CARILEC Electricity Tariff Survey.
