Press Release: Expert Leaders Discuss ‘Making the SHIFT’ at Leadercast Caribbean 2021

Castries, Saint Lucia, Aug 4, 2021: The Caribbean Electric Utility Services Corporation (CARILEC), the region’s premiere electric utility association, has partnered with Leadercast, the leadership development company that propels the growth of leaders worldwide, to bring Leadercast Caribbean 2021. The annual leadership conference will be hosted virtually on August 11, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. AST. This year’s leadership event will focus on successfully navigating personal and professional shifts, to discover a better and brighter future. Leadercast Caribbean’s expert speakers will teach participants the practical insights, purposeful actions and catalytic insights which have the power to transform them into world changing, visionary team builders.

The line-up for the event includes Rainn Wilson, three-time Emmy Nominated Actor (The Office) and NY Times Bestselling Author; Guy Raz, Award-Winning Reporter, Radio & Podcast Host, and Author of How I Built This. Also featured on the line-up are NFL Hall of Famer and Ohio State alumnus Cris Carter, President & CEO of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, David Baker, and authors Austin Channing Brown, Todd Henry, Liz Bohannon, Michael C. Bush, and Andy Stanley. The event will also highlight several Cincinnati leaders who are making a worldwide impact including Sunny Parr, Executive Director of the Kroger Foundation; Deni Tato, CEO of Corporate Consciousness; and Chuck Mingo, Founder of Living Undivided.

Leadercast Caribbean 2021 will deliver the toolkits and inspiration that leaders need to level up their skills and achieve their professional goals, regardless of their industry. The Caribbean Electric Utility Service Corporation (CARILEC) is an association of energy solution providers and other stakeholders operating in the electricity industry in the Caribbean.  CARILEC was established in 1989 with nine (9) members as part of an electric Utilities modernization project funded by USAID and implemented by NRECA under a five-year “Cooperative Agreement.” Currently, CARILEC comprises over one hundred members. This includes thirty-three (33) Full Members that are electric Utilities, and over eighty (80) Independent Power Producers (IPPs), Associate and Affiliate Members that are companies involved in some aspect of servicing the electric Utility business.
