TECHNICAL ASSESSMENT
                   MATLAB Simulink models were developed and used for simulation analysis. Some examples of the models
                   developed are as follows:

                   The BESS was developed from the calculated 10-day autonomy and the market research information. A
                   Constant Current/Constant Voltage (CCCV) battery charging module was developed and another DC-DC
                   bi-directional converter was used to step up battery output to the 776V required DC bus level. Discrete
                   Proportional Integral Differential (PID) and Proportional Integral (PI) controllers were implemented for charge
                   and discharge control about 80% SOC.
