ABOUT TAPSEC
The Technical Assistance Programme for Sustainable Energy in the Caribbean (TAPSEC) supports the region’s transition to
a low-carbon, sustainable and climate-future by increasing and improving access to modern, affordable and sustainable
energy services, to the benefit of all Caribbean citizens, especially those who are most disproportionately affected by a lack of
access to energy. Through multi-stakeholder partnerships, the TAPSEC team leads the implementation of Policy, Information
and Capacity Development and Finance interventions toward the realisation of the goals outlined in the CARICOM Energy
Policy (CEP), the Caribbean Sustainable Energy Roadmap and Strategy (C-SERMS) and the various national energy policies
and strategies of CARICOM member states.
