The CEO & Finance Conference was held at the
Sandals Grande St. Lucia Spa & Beach Resort
under the theme "Movement: Utilities, People,
Technology & Investment" and co-hosted by the
St. Lucia Electricity Services Ltd (LUCELEC). During
the meeting, Directors bid farewell to Ms. Kelly
Tomblin as she was set to maye on trom JPS. The
keynote speaker was Dr. Devon Gardner, the
Programme Manager for Energy at the CARICOM
Secretariat who is no stranger to CARILEC
conferences. The conference set the stage for
tremendous knowledge sharing and fresh
ÎnsÎghts on familiartopics and issues.

The three day event focused on themes such as
climate change adaptation and sustainable
energy, emerging business models for utilities,
new power generation strategies for the
Caribbean, and transitioning to a renewable
energy environ ment. The social activities were
weil attended as they gave delegates additional
time to network with their peers.
